He is survived by: his children, Brian Pakkala (Lisa) and Justine Doherty (Jim); his daughter-in-law Jodi Pakkala; and his grandchildren, Ryan Pakkala (Rachel), Adam Pakkala, Hanna Pakkala, Brandon Pakkala, Gina Carlucci, Jimmy Doherty (Ericka), Megan Hallgren (Matt), Kelsey Doherty and Hailey Doherty. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
