Payne of Genoa, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Hohenberger and Mary Lou Hohenberger (Adkinson); her sister Karen Hohenberger; and her brother-in-law Warren Shoup. She is survived by : her siblings, Kathy Hohenberger, Michele Coughlan (Shaun), Pam Shoup, Trish Meyer (Mark), Martin Hohenberger (Joan), Christopher Hohenberger (Judy) and Steve Hohenberger (Elpida); and her nieces and nephews, Jordan Coughlan (Kristine), Chelsea Coughlan, Mackenzie Bigelow (Jeremy), Katie Rule (Brian), Brad Hohenberger (Janet), Patrick Hohenberger (Breanna), Kevin Hohenberger, Nick Hohenberger (Meagan), Danielle Meyer, Aubrey Shoup and Tyler Shoup.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Juanita's name to the National Scleroderma Foundation or the Wounded Warriors.

“We are so sorry to hear about Juanita's passing. She was a kind, funny, generous person. She was the hardest working person we've ever seen, even when she wasn't feeling well. Her penchant for craftwork and artistry was a surprising and unexpected part of her personality. She will definitely be missed. Her life ended far too soon. Juanita was inspiring, and we will carry her spirit in our hearts forever.”
