He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Bauer and Maude Bauer (Prine); his wife Mary Ellen Bauer (Boothby); and his sisters, Idella Bauer and Ferne Crawford.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Beth Steele (Jeff) of Georgetown and Sarah Croft of Amelia, Ohio; his grandchildren, Morgan Kinder (Eric) of Sardinia and Tanner Croft of Moscow, Ohio; his great grandchildren, Halle Elle and Sidney Catherine Kinder; his friend Dave Kirk (Peggy) of Owensville, Ohio; his nephews, Charles Utter (Regina) of Georgetown, Ohio and Galen Beckelhimer (Linda) of Georgetown, Ohio; his niece Linda Elfort of Cincinnati, Ohio; and his pet Kirby.
His contributions to both his profession and community will be remembered fondly and his warm spirit and dedication to those around him will be missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire all who knew him.
