He was predeceased by: his parents, Mills Ernest and Magnolia "Nola" Pearl Brooks (Ogden); his wife Dottie Brooks (Garrison); his son Brad Brooks; and his siblings, Lenore Hayes, Helen Ware, Mills E. "Bud" Brooks, Janet Casada and Wanetta "Nettie" Dunn.
He is survived by: his daughter Bobbie Brooks; and his granddaughters, Lonna Marie Brooks and Aleah Sue Brooks. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
