He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton E. Sydnor and Kathy Jean Sydnor (Miller); his nephew Evan Peoples; and his uncles, Jesse Miller and Shelby Sydnor.
He is survived by: his wife Amanda Sydnor (Brooks); his stepdaughter Emma Brooks; his children, Shelby Sydnor of Kentucky and C. Shawn Sydnor, Jr. of Kentucky; his sister Tanja Stander (Bill) of Union, Kentucky; his parents-in-law, Ronnie and Sue Lang of Georgetown, Ohio; his sister-in-law Deirdre Lang (Adam Truitt) of Georgetown, Ohio; his nephew Brandon Truitt of Georgetown, Ohio; and his aunts, Joyce Bishop (Ernie) of Brooksville, Kentucky, Betty Workman of Falmouth and Connie Lang (Daryll Mulbaney) of Williamsburg.
