It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna M. Day of Georgetown, Ohio, who passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Carolina Phillips; her son Marcus Banks; and her brother Joseph Day. She is survived by: her children, Jeremy Day of Winchester and Dawn Shannon of Georgetown, Ohio; her grandchildren, Jared Shannon of Georgetown, Mathew Shannon of Georgetown, Christina Day of Owenton, Christopher Day of Owenton and Mikayla Day of Harrodsburg, Kentucky; her great grandchildren, Joleen, Harper Jo, Candice, Hayden and Oliver; and her siblings, Eugene Day of White Oak, Ohio, Mary Keethler of Sardinia and Lorraine Day of Georgetown. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cahall Funeral Home (204 W State St, Georgetown, OH 45121). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
