She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul M. Friend and Mildred Friend (Bowers); her sisters, Lois Snider and Margaret Wolfe; her siblings-in-law, Neil Wolfe, Terry McElroy, Thomas "Jake McElroy and Mary McElroy; her daughter-in-law Barbie McElroy; her niece Charlotte Baker; and her nephews, Jeffrey Wolfe and Paul Baker.
She is survived by : her husband Bobby McElroy; her sons, Rick McElroy and Dana McElroy (Kathrynn); her grandchildren, Zach McElroy (Heather), Billy McElroy, Megan Dunkin (Jeremy), Kelly McElroy (Kory) and Clinton McElroy; her sister Nancy Miller; and her siblings-in-law, Jim McElroy (Kaye) and Dottie McElroy. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
