He was predeceased by: his parents, Ansel Colyer and Lillian Colyer (Graham); his daughter Linda Sue Colyer; and his siblings, Joann Riddle, Jerry Colyer and Jim Colyer.
He is survived by: his sons, John "Randy" Colyer (Rosa) of Georgetown and Steve W. Colyer (Lori) of Pekin, Illinois; and his sisters, Ada Balzhiser of Wellston and Jeanie Bauer of Mt. Orab, Ohio.. He is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
