He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Denniston of Vermont and Mae Denniston (Reed); his siblings, Harold Shafer, Larry Shafer (Eva), Ralph Shafer (Kathryn), Paul Denniston (Jean), Charles Denniston (Marcie), Carolyn Jean Denniston and Dottie Hurst (Cecil); and his pets, Binkie, Tobie, Baby and Patches.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Denniston (Lawson); his daughters, Tammie J. Malicote (Mark) of Loveland and Rhonda G. Malicote (Scott) of Hamersville, Ohio; his grandchildren, Nicholas Talley of Batavia, Amanda Malicote of Loveland, Nichole Shaw (Brandon) of Mt and Lacey Kuntz (Bobby) of Hamersville, Ohio; his great grandchildren, Izzy Talley, Mackenzie, Shelby, Hunter Franklin, Brayden Dane Shaw, Lucian, Lennon and Layton Kuntz; Helen Schwarber of Mt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
