With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Johnston of Georgetown, Ohio, born in Rockholds, Kentucky, who passed away on October 29, 2022 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Johnston to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Lewis Barnes and Rachel Barnes (Engle); her sons, Tony Brandenburg and Buddy Brandenburg; and her siblings, William Barnes, Bobby Joe Barnes and Marinell Wolf (Freeman).

She is survived by : her son Thomas Johnston; her daughter-in-law Melissa Johnston (Alexander); her granddaughter Jackalyn Jones (Johnston); her great grandchild Tatum Jones; and her brother Tommy Freeman (Donna).

If desired, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Michael School, 300 Market Street, Ripley, Ohio 45167.
