He was predeceased by: his father Carol Helmers (Spike). He is survived by: his wife Marti Helmers; his children, Jesse Helmers and Emily Helmers; his granddaughters, Mattie Helmers and Layla Helmers; and his siblings, Tom Helmers (Suzy), Dave Helmers (Julie), Ann Case (Phil), Cathy Helmers and Carol Olh. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
