He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Schlea and Viola Schlea (Van Ness); and his siblings, Thelma Taulker (Robert), Robert Schlea (Rita) and Marvin Schlea (Carolyn).
He is survived by: his children, Dawn K. Brown (Paul), Donald E. Schlea (Colleen), John P. Schlea (Penny) and Ronald P. Schlea (Patty); his grandchildren, Jennifer Brown, Jonathan Brown (Nikki), Lauran Schlea, Travis Schlea (Rachael), Brian Johnson, Libby Jackson, Garrett Johnson (Dana), Jessica Phillips (Christopher), Brian Holbrook, Amy Holbrook, Stephen Schlea (Tara) and Devin Schlea; and his great grandchildren, Kellyanne Bunkley, Hannah Bunkley, Braedon Marley, Ian Brown, Allison Brown, Calvin Henry Jackson, Ophelia Acala of Johnson, Joel Phillips, Caleb Phillips, Kyle Phillips, Mason Phillips, Noah Holbrook, Adyson Schlea, Bryson Schlea, Zayden Schlea and Melody Schlea.
The family asks that, in lieu of floral arrangements, memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice Foundation of America Inc.
