It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Triplett of Gibsonburg, Ohio, who passed away on October 30, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Morgan Triplett and Mary Triplett (Pickens); and his siblings, Ernest, Minnie, Clearance, Gladys, Mildred, Lawrence, Ralph and David.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Richter of Gibsonburg; his daughters, Cindy Triplett and Donna Shireman; his grandchildren, Michael Fairchild, Stephen Fairchild (Marissa), Nathan Triplett, Aaron Triplett (Kamarinn), Lauren Shireman and Tyler Shireman; his great grandchild Archer Triplett; and his siblings, Sylvia, Ruthie and Larry.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory (319 W Madison St, Gibsonburg, OH 43431). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the West Union Cemetery.
