He was predeceased by: his parents, Rozena Black (Rater) and Billy Dean Black; and his brother Gary of Georgia. He is survived by: his son Devon Black (Jordan); his stepchildren, Jennifer Ickes and Clyde Ickes (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Hayden, Henzlee, Hollyn, Ali and Elli; his siblings, Robert Black of Indiana, Linda Thaxton of Ohio, Mary Dudzik of Illinois, Candy Hostettler (Pete) of Florida and Billie Jo Icenhour (Runt) of Georgia; and his sister-in-law Rhonda of Georgia.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Herman-Veh Funeral Home & Crematory (319 W Madison St, Gibsonburg, OH 43431). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations in Mike's name may be made to the American Heart Association.
