He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Smith and Marilyn Smith (Arndt); and his brother Randy Smith. He is survived by: his wife Deborah "Debbie" Eckhardt of Gibsonburg; his children, Zachary Smith of Gibsonburg, Kristi McCoy (Clayton) of Gibsonburg, Sara Jo Smith (Godfred Amoah) of Cleveland and Lesa Wright (Mike Henry) of Georgia; his grandchildren, Levi, Bryce, Jarrett, Sophie, Sam, Stella, Gigi and Theo; and his siblings, Amy (Kurt Davis), Mike Smith (Connie), Craig Smith (Nikki) and Brian Smith (Michelle).
