With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bridget M. Schimpf of Girard, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on August 13, 2024 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Martha Marsden Netzel. She is survived by: her children, Gary Schimpf, Jr. (Deidre) of McDonald, Roy Schimpf (Danielle Cross) of Kentucky, Anna Soltesz (Joe Soltesz) and Bridget of McDonald; her grandchildren, Amber Schimpf (Caden Staup), Joseph Schimpf (Danyelle Pietz), Grady, Sable, Evan, Ethan and Hope; her great grandchild Peyton; her son-in-law Jonathan Taddei of Girard; her siblings, Donna Sweitzer (Dale) of Lynchburg and Jon Netzel (Jessie) of East Palestine; her husband Gary Schimpf Sr.; her daughter Laura Schimpf; her grandson Asher Schimpf; her sisters, Pam Schimpf and Angela Paris; her brother-in-law George Schimpf, Jr.; her niece Tiffany Lynn Schimpf Burkett; and her cousin Norma Clauson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many extended family.
