He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brine and Mary Brine (Altiero); and his brother Lewis Brine. He is survived by: his wife Lena "Peggy" Brine (McCort); his children, Bart Brine (Sandy) of Salem, David Brine (Denise) of Myrtle Beach, Beverly Hegarty (Bill) of Poland and Tracie Kalic (Sean) of Weston, MO; his sister Betty Estes of Girard; and his grandchildren, Zachary, Seth, Logan, Jacob, Sarah, McKenzie, Evan and Katheryn.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, the Disabled Veteran's Organization, or the Boystown foundation, in John's honor.
