He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. D. Cooper and Katherine Watson Cooper; his former wife Carole Cooper; his wife Shirley Cooper; his daughter Deborah Cooper; and his sister Doreen Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Cooper, Kevin Cooper (Linda), Scott Cooper (Tosha) and Kristen Gallagher (Michael). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
