Leona M. Shontz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona M. Shontz of Girard, Ohio, who passed away on August 30, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond E. Richards and Cora Richards (Hughes); her husband Donald G. Shontz Sr.; her sister Martha E. Richards; and her son-in-law David L. Duer.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Duer of Vienna, Donald G. Shontz Jr. (Lorena) of Miamisburg and Mark Shontz Sr. (Sissy) of Lordstown; her sister Sarah Hendrickson of Bristolville; her grandchildren, Mark, DJ and Lindsey; and her great grandchildren, Rowan, Roark, Nash and Nixon.
