With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Marilyn Ben of Girard, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Marilyn left this world on October 29, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Romanowsky and Pauline Romanowsky (Sahydak); her husband Nick Ben; her son Ken; her son-in-law Fedele DeSantis; and her siblings, Steve Romanowsky (Ruth), Tony Romanowsky (Roma) and Stella Woytek (John).
She is survived by: her daughters, Paulette Seiser (Ben) of Milan, MI and Lynette DeSantis (Ben) of Chardon, OH; her granddaughters, Susan Adkins (Jordan), Kristen Knieper (Eric), Dr. Nina Asbury (Phil), Angela Bland (Nick) and Megan Kujawa (Andy); her great grandchildren, Harper, Hudson Adkins, Ava, Austin, Ashton Knieper, Camille, Lily, Mia Asbury, Louis Bland, Logan, Colton and Rylee Kujawa; her daughter-in-law Johnna Ben; and her sister-in-law Gladys Goodman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Nicholas Orthodox Church (2053 North Rd NE, Warren, OH 44483). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Marilyn's memory may be made to St. Nicholas Orthodox Church.
