Marjorie L. Hunkus Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie L. Hunkus of Girard, Ohio, who passed away on June 1, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marjorie L. Hunkus to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Brock and Margaret Brock (Williams); her husband Richard Hunkus; her brother Dr. Ralph Brock; and her daughter-in-law Deborah Hunkus.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Hunkus (Catherine) of Vonore, TN, Ronald Hunkus of Liberty Twp, David Hunkus (Holly) of Girard, Robert Hunkus (Colleen) of Girard and Michael Hunkus of Girard; her granddaughter Lauren Hunkus of Girard; and her brother Robert Brock of New Jersey. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Blackstone Funeral Home (672 Churchill Rd, Girard, OH 44420). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests any memorial contributions be made to the church memorial fund, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital, in Marjorie's memory.
