He was predeceased by: his mother Lucille Vandergrift Kerby; his son Brian Kerby; his siblings, Jim Kerby, Mary Ellen Girod and Trish Franc; his mother-in-law Verda Harger; and his siblings-in-law, Millie Schwan (Bill) and Jim Harger.
He is survived by: his wife Kathryn "Kay" Harger Kerby; his son Charles Kerby of Girard; his grandson Brian Kerby; his brother Bob Kerby of North Madison; and his siblings-in-law, Trudi Shook-Bassett of Strongsville and Charles Harger of Crown Point, Indiana. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
