He was predeceased by : his parents, John A. and Mary S. Wineman (Barnhart); his former life partner Paulene "Polly" Wineman (Stover); and his siblings, Andrew R., James E., George S. Wineman, Rebecca J. Rues and Elizabeth "Betty" Adams.

He is survived by : his wife Joanne Wineman (Hope); his daughters, Judy Brown (Mark), Barbara "Bobbi" Johnson (Raymond), Traci Erion (Robert) and Lisa Renna (Frank); his grandchildren, Jason Brown (Amanda), Jeremy Brown (Cherice), Jeanette Brown, Cory Johnson (Rachael), Katherine Welch (Anthony), Rebecca "Becky" Alexander (Paul) and Tina Renna; his stepchildren, Robert Swab (Debbie), Heidi Smithers (Phillip) and Julie Wiegman (Hans); his siblings, David Wineman (Belva), John A. Wineman II (Carol Ann) and Margaret Bachman; and his sister-in-law Ocie Kelly. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren; and 22 step-great grandchildren.
