He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dial and Mildred Dial (Kinsey); his wife Carole Chanay; and his siblings, Donnie Dial and Helen Simpson.
He is survived by: his children, Jeffrey Dial (Kathy) of Bristol, TN and Jerry Dial (Lee) of Glenmont, OH; his grandchildren, Sheri Bradley (Alan), Kaeli Dial, Alexx Straits (Zach), Thomas Dial, Meagan Dial, Chandler Totten (Zach) and Chloé Dial; his great grandchildren, Sophie, Stella, Fiona, Camree and Asher; and his niece Vickie Rinfret.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Union Grove Church of Christ (2135 Township Rd 2, Killbuck, OH 44637). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
