She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Sawyer and Elsie Smart Sawyer Gibson; her husband Thomas E. Shifflet Sr.; her brother Ralph Sawyer; her grandson Chad Eric Shifflet; her great grandchildren, Cameron Carr and Cameron McClellan; her sons-in-law, Jeff Gura, Tony Oskey and Rex Angle; and her stepfather Jim Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Shifflet Jr., Cindy Shifflet, Rebecca Oskey (John Richards), Jody Dearth (Big Dave) and Tammy Gura (Jimmy Childs); her grandchildren, Carletta, Chris, Debra, Toni Lynn, Summer, Little Dave, Matt, Kristin, Chelsie, Landon and Tammy; her brother Paul Sawyer; her sister-in-law Helen Sawyer; her caregiver OhioHealth Passport; and her friends, Phyllis Brooks, Barb Miller, Keith Drake, Brad Smith and Jayanna Smith (Conner). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bishopville Church of Christ (6555 S State Rte 78, Glouster, OH 45732). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
