She is also survived by 6 grandchildren.

“I'm just now learning that Penny passed away in January. Also my first time hearing of Vickie's passing. I'm so very sorry to hear about both. We were childhood friends and they've both been missed over the years. I recently connected with Penny via Facebook and we chatted about meeting up again for a long awaited reunion. I'm very saddened to know that'll never happen. My deepest condolences to her family. She will be missed and I'm so sad we won't get that reunion.”
