It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved June M. Crites of Gnadenhutten, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 99, on December 3, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Carlisle and Helen M. Carlisle (Reymond); her spouse Dallas R. Crites; her daughter Carolyn "Kernie" Crites; her son-in-law Homer Helter; and her siblings, Dorothy Hibbs, James Carlisle, Faye Meese, Dan Carlisle and Thomas Carlisle.
She is survived by: her children, Diana Helter and Jeffrey Crites (Carol Dawson); her grandchildren, Tim Helter (Colleen), Lorri Ciatto (Rick), Brian Galbraith, Shawn Batts (Stewart), Dena Affolter (Richard) and Jason Crites (Sara); her pet Thor; and her siblings, Joe Carlisle, Wanda Golder, Margie Levengood and Linda Edie. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; two step-great grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; three step great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Linn-Hert Geib Funeral Home & Crematory - New Philadelphia (116 2nd St NE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the John Heckewelder Memorial Moravian Church.
