He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ralph Heery and Elma Heery; his siblings, Steve and Linda; his spouse Marberta; his son Patrick; his granddaughter Megan; his nieces and nephews, Chris Heery, Becky Heery Soydas and Spencer Hobson; his children-in-law, Romar Roberson and Jenna Wissink Heery; his siblings-in-law, Richard Hobson, Carolyn Heery, Ugor Soydas and Susan (Bill); his grandchildren, Riley, Maya, Emerson and Josephine; his great-niece Sophia; and his grandsons, Ezra and Leo.
Even through the pandemic, he worshiped online faithfully every Sunday, often worshiping twice, first joining the services of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Auburn, New York, where his son Patrick was the pastor.
