With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Peterson (Goshen, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 22, 2025 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her parents, Zada Gertrude Miller (Faulkner) and Orville Miller of Dayton, Ohio.; her husband Phillip L. Peterson; her siblings, Marcella Bush and Paul Bush Jr.; her parents-in-law, Roxie Creech and Francis Peterson (Pete); and her siblings-in-law, Gladys Bush, Phyllis Nahigyan (Bruce) and Robert Young.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Sharpless (Jeff), Melissa Williams (Craig Bachmann), Angela Sharpless, Carla Peterson and John Peterson; her grandchildren, Rachel, Jessica, Eric, Evan Sharpless and William Alec Williams; her siblings, Forrest Bush and Phyllis Young; her brother-in-law Paul Peterson (JoAnn); and her siblings' children, Tammy Peterson, Leslie Nahigyan and Dave Nahigyan (Nancy).
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Evans Funeral Home (1944 State Rte 28, Goshen, OH 45122). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
