She was predeceased by: her husband William "Dewey" Meece; her parents, Robert L. Brinson and Lenora Brinson; and her siblings, Alice Shroader, Raymond, Ollie, Albert, Wallace, James, Howard and Roy.

She is survived by: her children, Pam Smith (Tom) and Terry Meece (Kimberly); her granddaughters, Nicole Rininger (Tom) and Mandy Barrett (Ian); her great grandchildren, Brett Rininger, Maya Barrett and Bryce Barrett; and her brother John. She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Otterbein Hospice, 696 State Route 741, Lebanon, OH 45036.
