Joseph H. Steele III Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joseph H. Steele III of Goshen, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 28, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Jr. Steele and Eva Steele; his wife Bonnie Sue Steele; his siblings, Connie Steele and Bill Steele; and his grandmother Eva Mae Steele.
He is survived by: his children, Kim Fite, Joe Steele (Kristi), Stacey Spaeth (Jim), Krystal Marsh (Dan), Heather Elkins and Sam Steele (Amy); his stepchildren, Bill Herrera (Tori) and Chrissy Herrera Sawyer; his grandchildren, Kirsten Sowers (Duane), Hunter Fite, Kelsi Mello (Brian), Brandi Elmore (Pierce), Grant Steele, Jessica Stevenson (Will), Stephanie Abbott (Gary Moore), Courtney Vome (Chris), Ethan Marsh, Luke Marsh, Jack Elkins, Addison Elkins, Brooke Elkins Preston Steele and Macee Steele; his siblings, Walter Thomas Steele (Kathie) and Susan Golden; and his sister-in-law Linda Steele. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Joe Steele to The Steele Brothers Military Scholarship Fund, at this time, c/o Joe Steele, 2171 Gibbs Rd., Goshen, OH 45122, pending creation of the Steele Brothers Military Scholarship non-profit fund.
