She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Hankins, and Gracie Hankins, Sr.; and her siblings, Ernest R. Hankins, Jr., Garry Hankins, Joyce Woods, Judy Lamb and Martha Hankins.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Engled (Phillis), Dorothy Barker (Mike) and Sharon Adams (Pat); her siblings, Larry Hankins and Carol Hankins; her grandchildren, Barbie Dowd (John), Dougie Engled, Jr. (Laura), Mikie Barker, Austin Adams, Mason Adams, Dustin Engled (Sierra) and Ashley Adams; her great grandchildren, Paige (Erik Slusher), Tyler, Lucy Gentry, Zachary Miniard-Dowd, Hannah Burnham (Jimmy), Kaitlyn Dowd, Taylor Black (Collin) and Dakota Engled; and her great great grandchildren, Georgia Gentry, Kade Slusher, Jackson Black, Olivia Black and Hazel Burnham. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Evans Funeral Home (1944 OH-28, Goshen, OH 45122). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the Graceland Memorial Gardens (5989 Deerfield Rd, Milford, OH 45150).
In lieu of flowers Norine has asked that donations be made to the Spirit + Truth Community Church 5398 Spruce Meadows Ct, Milford, Ohio 45150.
