She was predeceased by: her husband Harry L. Townsend Sr.; her daughter-in-law Tammy Townsend; her granddaughter Alicia Smith; her parents, Orpha Stringer and William Stringer; and her siblings, Clyde, Dennis, Frankie Stringer and Carolyn Stone.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Smith (John) of Grafton, Connie Smith (Jimmy "Marshall") of Grafton and Harry L. Townsend Jr. of Wellington; her grandchildren, Munnette (Scott), Amanda, Justin (Tami), Michael (Courtney) and Danielle (Jose); her great grandchildren, Aaron, Christian, Aidan, Conner, Jayce, Dakota, Jacob, Rachelle, Hayley and Mackenzie; her great great grandchildren, Luke, Finn, Cameron and Parker; and her siblings, Louise Crombie, Martha Buzzard, Libby Taylor (Harold), Roger Stringer (Mary), Judy Zornes, Richard Stringer (Carolyn) and Larry Stringer (Debbie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Ann Mae's name to the Abundant Life Christian Center or a charity of your choice.
