She was predeceased by: her husband Donald; and her parents, Michael and Mary. She is survived by: her children, Marcia, Sheryl (Dennis), Joan (Joe), Joyce (Dave), Russell (Carol), Alan, Brian (Pam) and David (Ruth); and her grandson Andrew J. Hoover. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorial contributions in Gertrude's memory be sent to the charity of the donor's choice.
