He was predeceased by : his father Jerry A.; and his brother Donald. He is survived by : his mother Lida B.; his sisters, Deborah Mers (Bill) and Laura Hrabnicky (Larry); his nephews, Steven and Scott Mers; his niece Sara Rogers (Noah); and his great-nieces, Edythe and Esme Rogers.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Solid Rock Community Church (680 S Abbe Rd, Elyria, OH 44035).
