He was predeceased by: his wife Bobbie Ann; his parents, Charlotte Faye and William Walters; and his brothers, Jackie and Bobby Brunning.
He is survived by: his son James "Sammy" Brunning of Grafton; his stepson Dwayne Callaway (Angie) of Wellington; his grandchildren, Tyler DeMarco of Elyria, Lindsey DeMarco of Nashville, TN and Cody Callaway of Elyria; his great grandchildren, Cohen and Emmett Callaway; and his sister Virginia Cole of West Virginia.
