He was predeceased by: his sons, William Eric and George Aaron Peterson; his parents, George Peterson and Mae Belle Peterson; and his brothers, Steven and Forrest Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel; his children, Jason Peterson (Christa) of Henrietta Township, Glorine Vlach (Lance) of Cleveland and Richard Peterson (Cori) of Parma Heights; his stepchildren, Robert Prunty (Gayle) of Cleveland, Christine Perry (Mike) and Theresa Perry; and his siblings, Roland Peterson (Mildred) of Ord, Nebraska and Kathaleen Nelson of Longmont, Colorado. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
