He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernardo Soto and Christina Soto (Cantu); and his siblings, Emilio, Bernardo Soto and Elida Wheeler.

He is survived by : his wife Wendy Woodling; his children, Christina Michalski (Jake), Nichole Murphy, Anthony Soto and Jason Soto (Jennifer); and his siblings, Mary Mendieta, Jane Mendieta, Carol Delacruz, Sue Soto and Rueben Soto. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
