He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Mortemore and Nellie Mortemore (Curson); his wife Barbara; his brother Jim Mortemore; and his granddaughter Tabitha Guth.
He is survived by: his daughters, Penny Fern of Virginia, Tammy Mortemore of Perrysburg and Brenda Robinson (John) of Kentucky; and his sister Helen Sims of Indiana. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
