He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Kepling and Alberta Kepling (Miller); his brothers, Bill and Bob; his siblings-in-law, Doreen and Asa Ottinger; and his parents-in-law, Betty and Paul Tolles.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kepling (Tolles); and his siblings, JoAnn Ottinger, Deb Gamby (Gary), Tom and Gene Kepling. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hanneman Funeral Home - Grand Rapids (24084 W Second St, Grand Rapids, OH 43522). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery (14180 Bailey Rd, Grand Rapids, OH 43522).
Contributions in his honor may be gifted to the Grand Rapids Fire Department or the Grand Rapids American Legion.
