She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Chaney and Elsie Chaney (McClanahan); her husband Frederick Vertrees; and her brother Richard Chaney. She is survived by: her children, Timothy Vertrees (Lisa) of Eagle River, Thomas Vertrees (Hannah) of Findlay, Bryan Vertrees of Ft. Wayne and Susan Vertrees of Delta; and her siblings, Barbara Bourne, John Chaney (Helen), Steven Chaney (Roxanne), Daniel Chaney and Sylvia Brandel (Vince). She is also survived by grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.
