We announce the death of Bill Parker of Granville, Ohio, who passed away on October 11, 2026, at the age of 94. Bill will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Parker and Dorothy Parker (Feeney); his wife Barbara Parker (Bratton); and his brother Alonzo "Lonnie" Parker. He is survived by: his children, Bill Parker (Sherrie), Bob Parker (Kelly), John Parker (Fran), Susan Parker, David Parker (Natalie), Jim Parker (Sonya) and Tom Parker; his grandchildren, Kate (Jan), Brooke (Dave), Emma, Lindsay (Chris), Alexa (Ryan), Jackson (Paige), Hallie (Norman), Luke, Jude, Nicholas, Samuel, Gabriella and Madalyn; his great grandchildren, Addison, Reece, Beckham, Bailey, Sully, Rosie Jo, June and Charlie; and his siblings-in-law, Margie Parker, John Bratton (Sue) and Don Bratton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reed-Egan Funeral Home (141 Green Wave Dr, Newark, OH 43055). A vigil service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church (785 Newark Granville Rd, Granville, OH 43023).
