He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Raymond George Bunge and Ruth Elizabeth "Betty" Bunge (Lyday); and his sister Dr. Johanna Miller. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carole Bunge (Kruse); his siblings, Theodore A. "Ted" Bunge (Gail) of Murphys, California and Elizabeth Birch (Richard Munson) of Oxford, Ohio; his sister-in-law Ilene Baker (George) of Alaska; his nieces and nephews, Jess Birch (Kristin Negele) of New York, Brett Bunge of California, Tessa Foster (Brian) of California and Peter Miller (Kema Chamberlain-Miller) of Minnesota; and his cousins, Anne, Evelyn, Gerald and Alan Griesse.
