It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara B. Higginbotham of Granville, Ohio, born in Abbeville, South Carolina, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Colie Hill and Frances Burriss (Spires); her husband James M. Higginbotham, Sr.; and her siblings, Cleve P. Hill, Marion Burriss, Danny Otto Burriss, Betty Jo Simpson and Lib Addison.

She is survived by : her children, Melva L. Muir (Jim), James M. Higginbotham, Jr. (Bev) and Tracy Higginbotham (Laura); her brothers, Doug Hill and George Burriss (Tina); her grandchildren, Jennifer Wright, Christopher Wright (Krystal), Angela N. Higginbotham, Alisha N. Schiltz (Greg), Amanda L. Warner (Nathan), Clay, Collin and Addison Higginbotham; and her great grandchildren, Brock, Morrigan, James, Charlotte, Liam, Cameron, Livi, Lillie, Willow and Violet. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
