We are sad to announce that, on January 17, 2026, at the age of 88, Lana Sharlene Murphy of Green Springs, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Lawson and Lana Lawson (Twaits); her husband LeRoy Murphy; her siblings, Stanley Lawson and Paula Clatterbaugh; and her son-in-law Marvin Blackshire.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Murphy of Bellevue, Vicki Blackshire of Albion and Julie Perry (Louis) of Green Springs, Ohio; her grandchildren, Todd Murphy (Candi) of Lake Wales, Tara Hall (Alec) of Goshen, Sara Glick (Mark) of Albion, Josh Fry (Bethany) of Toledo, Tiffin Murphy (Jenny) of Leesburg and Erica Smith (AJ) of Toledo, Ohio; and her sisters, Nancy Tepin (Don) of Fort Wayne and Ann Askren (Terry) of Albion, Indiana.. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given in memory of Lana to Breast Cancer Research or Alzheimer's Research.
