He was predeceased by: his parents, Elroy Berger and Vivian Berger; his son Robert "Rob" Berger; his siblings, Meredith Berger, Cathryn Fiordelis and Bette Berger; and his son-in-law David Mahler.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Berger of Green Springs, OH; his daughter Angela Mahler of Fremont, OH; his grandchild Logan; his daughter-in-law Dena Berger of Quincy, MI; his grandson Chad Berger (Kirby); and his great grandchildren, Rhenleigh and Hendrik Berger.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Auxter-Recker Funeral Home (218 S Main St, Clyde, OH 43410). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
