She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Bast and Kathyrn Bast (Rogers); and her siblings, Jacqueline Meyer, Cynthia Gelesky and Edward Bast.

She is survived by : her husband Robert Szanto of Green, OH; her children, Keith E. (Hilliary) of Chicago, IL, Kimberly A. (Tom Labut) of Canal Fulton, OH and Stephanie D. Petit (Austin) of Norton, OH; her grandchildren, Dante Donatelli, Noah Donatelli (Hannah), Michael Petit, Lauren Petit, Sadie Szanto and Zoe Szanto; and her cousin Holly Maust. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
