He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Hidy and Martha Anne Hidy (Denney); and his brother Stephen Kent Hidy. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Hidy (Bangert); his daughters, Brandy Campbell (Craig) of Greenfield and Jennifer Russell (Justin) of Ashville; and his grandchildren, Carter Campbell, Addisyn Russell and Wilson Alejandro Oliva Rivero.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home (380 Jefferson St, Greenfield, OH 45123). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
