He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cecil and Mildred Benner (Truitt); his wife Dena Jeanette Benner; his great grandchild Wesley Benner; and his brother Charles Benner.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Benner (Willa) of Greenfield, Michelle Rayburn (Chuck) of Greenfield and Jeff Benner (Samantha) of Greenfield; his friend Joe Miller of Greenfield; his pet Tissy; Casey Benner, Amanda Unger, Levi Rayburn (Cortney), Lauren Rayburn, Shyann Brigner (Sederick), Kenzie Benner, Stevie, Amerie, Taylor, Gracie, Bo, Kip, Josie, Rhett and Dustin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
