John Gillespie Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 9, 2025, at the age of 58, John Gillespie (Greenfield, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact John had on those he encountered along his journey. Though John may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He is survived by: his parents, James W. Gillespie and Peggy Rector; his wife Melissa; his children, Cora Gillespie and Chad Gillespie (Iceces); and his siblings, Michael "Mick" Gillespie and Laura Buehner (Ken). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Greenfield First Baptist Church (250 Lafayette St, Greenfield, OH 45123). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
